Seit ihnen ihre Großmutter in der Kindheit das Stricken, Häkeln und Nähen beigebracht hat, lieben sie Garn und die Möglichkeiten, was man daraus designen kann.

Die beiden entwickeln ein hochwertiges Bio-Garn in einzigartigen Farben. Es ist GOTS-zertifiziert, zu 100 % natürlich und frei von Chemikalien. Es ist in Dänemark entwickelt und designed und in Europa produziert. Sie sind sehr stolz darauf, ein nachhaltiges Luxusgarn anbieten zu können, bei dem keine Kompromisse bezüglich der Qualität oder der Farben gemacht wurden. Sie versichern, dass jeder, der dieses Garn verarbeitet, ein Produkt bekommt, das den höchsten Respekt vor der Natur erfüllt. Außerdem stellt die GOTS-Zertifizierung sicher, dass der gesamte Prozess alle beteiligten Personen mit Respekt behandelt.

 

Ich habe Heidi und Pia dieses Jahr auf der H+H in Köln kennenlernen dürfen und habe mich sofort in diese ruhigen Farben und die Schönheit der Garne verliebt. In dem ganzen bunten Trubel der Messe waren sie eine Oase der Ruhe für das Auge. Und ich freue mich, dass ich nun diese wunderschönen Garne hier anbieten kann. Ich beginne mit der Baumwolle und zum Winter wird auch die Wolle Einzug halten. Die Wolle ist für alle, die sonst Probleme mit 'oh, es kratzt aber so' haben. Meine Freundin Birgit, die sonst gleich schon beim Stricken einen Ausschlag von Wolle bekommt, konnte sich einen kleinen Probestrang sogar um den Hals legen, ohne dass sie anfing zu blühen. Das hat uns beide überzeugt und deswegen wird die Wolle auf jeden Fall auch noch in den Shop einziehen.

Das Garn

The Fibers

We purchase certified organic wool and cotton and we produce and dye the yarn in a small spinning mill in Portugal. The production process is also certified to ensure sustainable production without the use of undesirable and harmful chemicals.
The raw cotton comes from South America, where it is possible to grow organic cotton due to the perfect combination of warm weather and fertile soil without having to add huge amounts of water. The cotton fields are placed near streams from the mountains and nearby rivers. Here it is sown, grown and harvested without the use of chemical pesticides and artificial fertilizer with a minimum of irrigation. The natural growth creates longer cotton fibers and results in an incredibly soft high-quality yarn.


Our merino wool also comes from South America. The wool is certified organic which means that the wool is produced with focus on animal welfare and of course mulesing-free.
The certificate also ensures safe and hygienic working conditions and fair wages for workers and farmers.

We only purchase certified mohair fibers to ensure all considerations are made towards animal welfare, environment and local communities. The mohair fibers come from Africa and are spun and dyed in Italy according to the same high standards as our organic cotton and wool.

Ich versuche mal, hier eine kleine Galerie anzulegen mit all den aus Krea Deluxe gefertigten Schätzen. Der kleine Elefant E I ist bei Anke Hüls, auch bekannt als @maschenprobenuschi, auf die Welt gekommen und macht hier den Anfang.  Goldig, oder?
